as if the 5% is where all the leaks are happening, bladdy hell remove all kind of subsidy and SST and then put back GST at a fair rate
100% leaks would be reduced by at least 99% This post has been edited by alextan99: May 24 2025, 08:54 PM |

T5 - most likely these are the one that can afford high End EV. They won't even bat an eyelid on the increase of petrol.
1st day stealing fuel, so lost of subsidies Now say subsidize foreigners - ada ke banyak foreigner yang sehingga Kita rugi kau kau? What's the statistic? If that's the case, at immigration - those that drive into Malaysia, perday pay RM20 for driving into Malaysia as tourism fee when returning back to their home country. 😂 |

If bmx means Singaporeans, it's not.like they cross over. Fill.up.petrol then drive back empty handed. The govt already untung Singaporeans buy all their monthly groceries, supplements etc while in JB.
If he means Bangla, Nepal, etc. Most come here to work & ada transport pun is mainly motosikal sahaja very few got cars to go for work. On their off days, they do.odd.jobs to.get additional.income like cutting grass bukan pergi joyride. This post has been edited by arkasi: May 24 2025, 10:04 PM |

QUOTE So if we withdraw these subsidies, it simply means those buying fuel will need to show their MyKad, or we’ll come up with other detailed mechanisms to identify eligible recipients Foreign spouse ? |

QUOTE(HeartR0bber @ May 24 2025, 08:41 PM) Bmx will.never dare reimplement gst. He saw how it.caused the downfall of bijan although to be fair it was.bijan abusing the gst system.Instead the fellow rather come up wthi how on earth is.one going to implement & monitor scheme. He ingat the cashier going to be so.diligent check every customer ic? Put ic reader at pump who is so generous going to absorb the cost of building such a system? The best is to copy Singapore where those eligible can get gst refund in terms of cash credit back into their bank account but do it monthly instead of.annual. |
