QUOTE Persatuan Haiwan Terbiar Malaysia (SAFM) dengan tegas mengecam perbuatan kejam melibatkan seekor monyet yang terperangkap dalam sangkar di Desa Moccis, U17, Shah Alam yang telah disembur cat ke seluruh badannya oleh seorang individu yang tidak berperikemanusiaan.
Perbuatan tersebut adalah satu pelanggaran serius di bawah Akta Pemuliharaan Hidupan Liar 2010 (Akta 716), Seksyen 86, yang memperuntukkan hukuman denda tidak kurang daripada RM5,000 dan tidak melebihi RM50,000 atau penjara sehingga satu tahun, atau kedua-duanya sekali, ke atas mana-mana individu yang melakukan kekejaman terhadap hidupan liar.
SAFM menggesa saksi-saksi kejadian ini agar segera tampil membuat laporan polis serta laporan kepada Jabatan Perlindungan Hidupan Liar dan Taman Negara (PERHILITAN) Jabatan PERHILITAN Semenanjung Malaysia supaya tindakan undang-undang yang tegas dapat diambil tanpa kompromi.
Persatuan Haiwan Terbiar Malaysia (SAFM) juga menuntut agar Jabatan Perhilitan mengambil tindakan segera dan menyeluruh dalam menyiasat kes ini, serta memastikan pelaku dikemukakan ke muka pengadilan demi menegakkan keadilan dan memberi amaran keras terhadap sebarang bentuk penderaan haiwan.
SAFM menegaskan bahawa tiada ruang untuk kezaliman terhadap hidupan liar dalam negara ini, dan akan terus memantau perkembangan kes ini secara tegas. |

ALot of people do this lar to make the coloured monkeys chase the group that doesn't accept him for being lgbt (joke), so the monkeys won't come kacau for a while.
You haven't seen those kena anak panah & air gun tembak and masuk kuali lagi. kena spray is way more humane

You can tell who never had problem with monkeys breaking into their house, they can and will bite if they feel trapped or threaten when you confront it in your own house. Can always call majlis (maybe perhilitan?), not sure what they will do, or when.

This is usually teach the alpha monkey a lesson...in kampung either they poision the monkey or shot them....this is very human already...the monkey will be rejected the group because spray with colour no more norm to the group....the group will attack the monkey and it has no choice to left the area
