There's a reason PKR replaced Loh Gwo Burne with him, because they were afraid to lose this 'safe' seat with such a useless MP. Wong Chen isn't a campaigner, as his constituent I attended multiple of his 'ceramah'. More like intellectual Q&A sessions la, because his preference is to discuss policy and numbers. It works in this area (also because he actually has a team to handle the longkang issues) because educated voters understand the real role of the MP is not to turn up at every RA event. And in my opinion he fulfills the policy making role very well.

That being said MPs are generally voted in based on party (and hence PM candidate). Good luck on that PKR....

You're talking about a hypothetical DAP candidate in a PKR seat. Running against him (incumbent chinese PKR candidate). Was this revealed to you in a dream? A Hannah Yeoh/YBY level candidate will. Put one of their lower-echelon low profile members are they'll have no chance. Putting aside the fact that a DAP candidate running against him would require DAP to be kicked out from Pakatan. In which case he'll almost certainly at least not run anymore, probably even quit the party.

Nurul Izzah isn't a clown. Assume you're referring to for example Ramanan vis-a-vis Nik Nazmi. Definitely lots of internal politiking with shades of nepotism there.

But unlikely to make a difference for Madani's chances in the next GE. They live or die by BN (well, basically UMNO) support. If the coalition holds they get another term, despite what the 'educated urban' voter like myself would like to complain about. That support isn't dependent on Rafizi camp or Izzah/Anwar camp. Just need court decisions to go the right way and Zahid to stay friendly.
