for the item warranty would need to wait supplier there technician to check and test the item. how long they need to process , is really can not promise. would need to depend supplier there the processing.

Sounds very generic 'mou peen' reply. If I were you I would insist them give me the RMA ticket number and then I will recheck with the distro and if not them, back to PNY on the status of this RMA.

couldn't find the email for Fusion Tech Supply (PNY distributor). I can only chat with them on fb, but no reply.

today I sent another email to PNY. got a prompt reply. I'm surprised.

"Hello,

For SN: xxx , we have provided replacement back to Fusion Tech on July 3rd.
Kindly check with them on further updates, thank you."

There you go, now use that email and chase both distro and reseller when you are getting your replacement card. 1 week is enough for air shipment and custom clearance. Try ask the distro if they can ship direct to you or not.

got my gpu back. hotspot temperature went from 108c to 90c. I wonder how long this thermal paste will last.

How long did it take? 10 weeks?

I hope your issue is resolved. I repasted and replaced the thermal pads on my 6800XT last month and saw the same improvement in temperature.

sent the card on may 11th. got the message to pickup card on jul 17th.
issue is resolved but it's the matter of quality of the paste. last time I used Palit Jetstream 1070. never had any thermal issue after using more than 7 years.

Good stuff back then will often be reduce and cost down until quality is barely acceptable. Thats how it is.

what is the model of ur pny? Hotspot 90c for 200w gpu is quite high to me

4070 Verto dual fan

i use an amd rx7800xt sapphire nitro+

i noticed the spot temp max under full load was 95c

Should i be concerned?

for the other graphic card temp, the max is 66c

Be mindful these review places are usually cooler than Msia or else room temp controlled (21 ~ 24C)
