SPRM sedang berusaha melucutkan hak pemilikan harta yang tidak diisytiharkan milik bekas Allahyarham Daim Zainuddin dan keluarganya yang bernilai melebihi RM2 bilion.

Ketua Pesuruhjaya SPRM, Azam Baki berkata, sejumlah harta bernilai tinggi itu yang dimiliki Daim, keluarga dan rakan sekutunya sedang dibekukan oleh suruhanjaya itu.

“Aset-aset berkenaan sekiranya benar tak diisytihar adalah kesalahan.

“Walau pun ketiadaan Tun Daim lagi, kita sedang menuju ke arah itu (melucutkan harta) dan kita sedang melihat harta-harta berkaitan yang tidak diisytiharkan pada satu ketika dahulu.

"Kemudiannya terpulang kepada pendakwaan untuk membuat keputusan," katanya pada sidang media di Putrajaya hari ini.
