seriously, ts if you are buying these to drink on daily basis, consider get your own filter

cost much cheaper and safer, and at least you are in control of the filtration.

if you just buy for one time camping/outage use. then go for colored cap

People making things complicated only. Don't know where it came from "white caps" tik tok kot. Not to make you confuse, its RO Water.
Genereally RO water is just less healthy from Mineral water. I always finish RO Water within a day. Not overnight. Somehow especially Summer RO Water, if you keep overnight, the water have a kind of aftersmell. Mineral water don't have this problem tho

I prefer drinking water to mineral. The mineral give weird taste for me. Usually I just drink the filtered water from the office, but if I am on the go i just buy Seamaster or similar.

Investigation revealed that the defendant had drunk a total of 15 19-liter bottles of "mineral water". (File photo)

(Singapore, 4th) A company was selling mineral water produced in Malaysia, but the supply of mineral water was suddenly interrupted. In order to fulfill the contract, the man used a "strange trick" to fill the tap water into bottles in the company's toilet and then delivered the goods. As a result, he was reported.

The Shin Min Daily News reported that the man who sold tap water as mineral water was 70-year-old Lin Liancai (transliteration). He was fined S$3,500 yesterday after pleading guilty to a charge of violating the Food Sales Act.

It was revealed in court that the defendant was once the operator of Drinkstar Enterprise, which specializes in selling water dispenser and other related products, including canned mineral water.

According to the case, the mineral water sold by the defendant's company originated from Malaysia. One day in 2018, the mineral water could not be imported for some reason. He claimed that he had already taken orders from three customers at the time, and if the delivery was not made on time, it would be regarded as a breach of contract and the company would suffer losses.

When he was thinking about how to solve the problem, he had an idea and decided to put the tap water into empty bottles and sell them to customers when the mine was short of water.

The defendant therefore found empty 19-liter bottles, connected them to the faucet in the company's toilet with a water pipe, filled the bottles with tap water and sold them to customers.

After receiving a report in December last year, the Singapore Food Agency conducted a surprise inspection and uncovered the defendant's crime. It ordered him to cease business and recall 15 bottles of "mineral water" that had already been delivered to customers.

The defendant insisted that what he sold was "filtered water"
The defendant insisted that he was selling pure "filtered water", and the judge rebuked: "Your customers want to buy mineral water, not tap water!"

The prosecutor pointed out that the defendant committed the crime for his own business interests and the crime was very serious. His behavior was very unhygienic and could pose a safety hazard to customers. He asked the judge to sentence him to a fine of 3,000 to 4,000 yuan.

When the defendant pleaded for leniency, he said that he had sold his business to American clients and now had no income, and asked the judge to give him a lenient sentence. The defendant also stated that the water he sold was not as dirty as described by the prosecution, and he filtered it with a machine before packaging it for sale.

After hearing this, the judge reprimanded the defendant, pointing out that the customers bought mineral water, not tap water, and that the defendant must have made a considerable profit by doing so.

Because RO state is not natural, water needs to bind with minerals, if no mineral is present due to RO, it will rob you of your own minerals once you drink it.

Consuming reverse osmosis (RO) water for even a few months can create serious side effects, warns WHO.

It has been scientifically confirmed that drinking reverse osmosis water causes more bodily harm and faster than most contaminants found in tap water.

Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems to purify water are in use extensively. Besides the aqua companies that market RO water personal water purifiers are also preferred by many households. RO system off course removes water impurities. But they also remove 92-99% of beneficial calcium and magnesium!

After analysing hundreds of scientific studies concerning RO water, the World Health Organization states that such water has a definite adverse influence on the animal and human organism.

Side effects, even after just a few months

Consumption of RO water leads to the dilution of the electrolytes dissolved in the body water. Inadequate body water redistribution between compartments may compromise the function of vital organs. Side effects at the very beginning of this condition include tiredness, weakness and headache; more severe symptoms are muscular cramps and impaired heart rate.  Long-term consumption of acidic filtered water devoid of essential elements produced by RO filters is unhealthy.

Risk factor for many diseases

Recent studies suggest that RO water may be a risk factor for hypertension and coronary heart disease, gastric and duodenal ulcers, chronic gastritis, goitre, pregnancy complications and several complications in new-borns and infants, including jaundice, anaemia, fractures and growth disorders.

Use of RO water for cooking causes substantial losses of all essential elements

When used for cooking, RO water was found to cause substantial losses of all essential elements from food (vegetables, meat, cereals). Such losses may reach up to 60 % for magnesium and calcium or even more for some other micro-elements (e.g., copper 66 %, manganese 70 %, cobalt 86 %). In contrast, when mineralized water is used for cooking, the loss of these elements is much lower, and in some cases, even higher calcium content was reported in food as a result of cooking.
