A bit sweet for me, their version quite similar to Oriental and Papparich.
I prefer those less sweet so can taste more egginess, like Ipoh Nam Heong egg tarts.

Not all. They have a lot of shops selling egg tarts and I remember those no name neighborhood char chan teng egg tarts are better than the famous one

one drink at HK can cost you 20~40. Say those bubble tea cost you 40.
one bowl of the fish ball noodle is 30...  cheaper than the drink.

I dun think you can get equivalent pricing here

fish ball noodle 30? the cheapest i could even find was those lorong stalls with wan tan mee - cost about 40 as well, 35 if not wrong, that was around 6 years ago.

so yeah point is -- it's cheap there yes, but they're basically similar pricing here thats why HK shops do well here.

if you wanna say more expensive-
taiwanese braised pork rice is one - it's 40-50NTD (approx RM5-7) but at msia it's always at least RM10

even banh mi from vietnam too.

Have any of u tried Mak's Chee ? From Hong Kong also.. When it first open, the taste was very authentic like in Hong Kong.. A lot of locals complain and now they blend in to local's taste already

It's just because we had a heavier taste compared to other countries especially our Chinese food. That's why we always say Malaysia ones are better
