my Mac mini m2 8gb ram 😅 performs so much better than my gaming laptop running 32gb ram. at least for graphic applications. i use lightroom and Photoshop intensively, on m2 these programs just fly but the same process i try on gaming laptop 🤦🏻
something about m2 chip is so good at intensive applications. so i have no doubt m4 performs even crazier.

powerful single core cpu and efficient GPU acceleration

these specific stuff really no brainer use mac with apple silicon

especially video editing, the media engine alone in the chip is worth it

but people keep huhah apple silicon so fast, but yet i dont see techtuber test the mac with game settings that is not bottlenecked by gpu.
but little do we know that responsive in games can somewhat represent on responsive in application too. thats why my old gtx1060 is still working fine on modern cpu.

Because it's not the intended use case. Some software is optimize for certain os only. Pc games is apple biggest weakness.

pro apple pretends cuda didnt exist. but hey thanks to apple, they forces graphic card manufacturers to add more hardware on stuff that they think already more than enough (video decoder, encoder hardware)

apps in general definitely feel more optimized on iphone (especially those heavy china apps e.g. taobao all those)

but cons is everything so limited what u can do and the settings is a mess, recent Apple Intelligence also shitshow. Something really wrong with Apple software division and im skeptical for the next few years.

just changed to ipong from flip4 last year cuz the flip screen went kaput and fedup liao
luckily already used ipad for few years so already somewhat familiar, dunno how it is if convert without use before at all

so how many frames m4 can produce in counter strike2?

i dont care on stuff i didnt do like running geekbench or video editing. general usage compute has been fast enough for me since 2010, when ssd starting to become mainstream.

I have try League of legend, it is about 180 fps average. assuming CS2 more demanding, should be around 120-140 like that? not sure
