From stories in /k and news, even those earning rm10k-15k are financially struggling
I think most of us have no clue on how to save money or live within our means

Personally for me, i like ordering food without ordering drinks, or just plain water if it is free or almost free.
- No expensive coffee. (or have 1 to treat yourself every month)
- No supper.
- One heavy meal a day... or at most, eat twice if you can't stand it.
- Reduce going out, and walk more instead... Simple pleasantries can go a long way.
- No credit card debts / no new cars / no borrowing.
- Cook at home.
- Do not be put under peer pressure to own things... Stay away from materialism.
- No alcohol, or bare-minimum-once-an-occassion/blue moon-drinking.
- Close every lights at night, and only use fan instead.
- If you can, try not to own a car (or not to drive)... use public transport or bicycle instead.
(Reuse the same ol' car and learn to maintain it really well; learn about decarbonizing, etc ---- works wonders for the long-haul)
- No fast food, no high-carbs roti canai all-day long. Instead, eat really healthy and I mean whole foods / raw foods cooked (health is wealth).
- Use bare minimal prepaid and WiFi on-end. Whenever you're travelling long distance, top-up for the day for necessary data and also emergency calling.
- Shut the power switch down before going out and close off SYABAS' tap (if you're staying in a landed property).
These are pretty much what I did this when I was a fresh bird...
