They use image recognition to recognize traffic through CCTV cameras then smartly timing the traffic light to have the least congestion, they use to be so proud of the system and arrogant when they first implement it, told police traffic we don't need you anymore. For one day police traffic to stop working.

Guess what happened, the road become jamm as fck due multiple deadlocks, the reason guess it? Because Malaysian break traffic laws like ignoring red light and stop on yellow X line during peak hour, then it made the ai become useless.

Then DBKL have to tebal muka ask police traffic go come again tomorrow during peak hour.

Nowadays most traffic light have sensors and camera. But still cannot replace police traffic completely.
