not really. OLED is not bright enough this statement has been not so much an issue nowadays.

my 2021 model of A80J (OLED) sony tv serves me well even during day time without the need to close the curtain.

and the high contrast and true black are something that once u experience u can never go back.

if budget constraint, then yes, LCD is still an option, but comes to ultimate experience, OLED is still the best. 

and advice is also: dun try to experience OLED in the first place if u dun intend to spend the budget for it. becos u will be sold by it immediately. 

i had the similar mindset previously that LCD is actually not bad, and why need to spend money to go for OLED.

But ever since i had experienced, i know why the extra money is worthwhile to spend.
