It is nicer looking. No idea is power generation is better or worse than traditional panels. It would be lighter than clay tiles. But probably heavier than metal formed tiles. No idea if the connection between tiles would be a problem in the future.

Should do large moulded piece with tile look rather than individual tile piece. More practical and less work involved in installation.

Lesser maintenance too. I know a few indonesian roofers that told me the new generation custom long extruded roof sheets are far easier to install and offers less maintenance.

I think I got brain cancer while trying to decipher what you're saying.

He is saying the solar panels would degrade and not efficient and need to be replaced in XX amount of years.

House paint will also degrade in xx years, so why bother painting in the first place?

I'm no expert but i heard these panels need cleaning or else you won't get max light catchment.
