I know I sound insensitive, but if your lands are located in middle of the city centre, government can do whatever they want to redevelop the area in order to make it looks good and organised.

That's the price of living in city and they should know that.

All big cities around the world are facing the same fate. Government or private takeover the land and develop the area.

We can't just maintain the area with the same look for 100 years.
