talking about these hotels, nothing beats japan love hotels. they’re really something else. the entrance is usually hidden, and check-in/out is done at a kiosk machine, which also dispenses the room key or card. you can barely see the counter unless you really look for it. and even if you need to go there, the window is frosted, so you can’t see the staff’s face, and they can’t see yours. inside the room, there's a machine to charge your card. the door only unlocks once payment is completed.
