Open to all ev in 2027 i think.

Anyways, here is how Tesla is meeting its requirements.

Looks like Tesla is the only one doing a proper job in developing ev infra.

The rest are just hoping on other private companies and government to do their job.

Now that BYD has megawatt chargers and EVs, BYD should negotiate with our gov to have the same deal like Tesla because BYD has plans to install megawatt chargers in China and internationally.

It actually is much harder than it looks.

Traditional car makers like Mercedes, BYD etc. don’t have that know how to get into government systems to leverage and install chargers widely. Specifically To get into departments like Miti, Suruhanjaya tenaga, etc.

Installing megawatt chargers is actually not realistic for now, at least for Malaysia. TNB simply can’t support it in many places. Even in US its hard.

Lucid has actually deployed 900V architecture in its cqr last year and even that is facing problems for now. Almost no chargers can support that speed. Its also hard to install those chargers at general places which are meant for EV charging.
