Its psychological. Because women consistently buy things that does not make sense. 50 pair of shoes even if the shoes are cheap.

And you can easily fool women into buying something that was made for women that is supposed to be better for woman.

Ever seen the womans day Chocolate that costs more than regular one? If you think of the mindset the packing says got donate money to womens help around the world.

Woman also cannot live simple life. Simple means cheap. This is easy for manufacturer to make stuff cheap.

For example blue dye is cheaper as a primary color than pink that requires red to mix with white. And the lubricating strip is not scented. While the female one is. Those are not costs?

And whats more women want 10 different variants of the same shaver. So the costs spreads towards all the other ranges. Unlike men on which is limited to one range.
