MAS CEO is a joke  bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif

He was upset when SIA split from MAS, MAS got all the domestic routes (ie free money) whereas SIA has to start from scratch and do international.

He actually said it is not fair to MAS bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif

No wonder S$1 = RM3.3

I heard it's the opposite.

Domestic routes are actually not that profitable but MAS has to do it out of national duty.

For international routes, you can pick and choose which route is profitable for you.

Routes between s&s and kul was mas cash cow. Most of mas intercontinental routes e.g lax, ewr, fco, eze, etc were losing money from day one.

Is there anything that can confirm what you said?

Because someone told me the opposite thing.
