Is Starbucks Malaysia Closing Another Store In Bukit Bintang?

The Starbucks outlet at ANSA Hotel opened its doors in 2015 and is the 200th Starbucks store in Malaysia. Given its location within the Bintang Walk, itโ€™s also one of the more popular stores in the area. However, given the recent public boycott, it wouldnโ€™t be surprising if the store faced declining sales. Starbucks Malaysia has also been closing many stores in recent months, even one earlier this May.

Around that area got 4-5 Starbucks. No point having so many, and fight against each other. Hence closing one is nothing. Only become topic when ALL of them close.

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ it goes to say our purchasing power is very bad in Malaysia. You can see many people going to Mixue because of the cheaper prices. Realistically for drinks or beverages we shouldn't be paying more than RM10 per drink.I don't believe it is the boycott factor as even KFC I notice the customers are fewer. PIZZA HUT also the same thing.

Actually, SB in Malaysia still too "westernised". If you look at their offerings, most of them are Western tastes.

This is where CBTL wins because they cater more for local.
