I want to ask about Cuckoo Titan

Anyone used it or using it now?

What interest me is the instant cold water function

How does it work and how much cold water can get continuously?

Is tankless more power saving than tank version because tank version the hot water need to continously keep the water hot where as tankless will only consume electricity during operation

If really want cold water. Go with tank version la.
Tankless mean it will be not very cold like tank version. I dont know real temperature but for sure u can get cold water continuously. Sejuk tapi xla sejuk sangat.
Logically la, it is harder to instant cold. if like that we no need ice maker & fridge. It will take time for water, down to 10-15 Celsius.
Hot function is very good. Can get it instant boil water.

This is exactly what I have in mind. I'm doubting the instant cold water. But design wise it's small and compact

i like mikasa in attack of titan
btw i use similar product which no tank
the cold water do not always cold
if your main preference is cold water
use tank one
but for hot water, no problem
and also if your water pressure is low, they will add water pump
that add more space

Just to give you a perspective: Cuckoo in Korea is a synonym to water machine. When they think of water machine, they think of Cuckoo. Coway is just the rice cooker

Thanks for sharing bro. This is indeed helpful.

Btw, what about electricity consumption?

For example, myself, I take hot water just a few times in a day, maybe 3 times a day, one cup each time, that's all

Based on my understanding, for tank version, it will continously keep the water hot while for tankless it will only heat up on demand

Theoritically, tankless should be more power saving if less usage for hot water isn't it.

Noted with thanks. I use Cuckoo because the tank in stainless steel compared to Coway which is plastic (claimed as BPA free and safe to use)

honestly not much different for the electric usage. before i use tankless i did use tank.
i cannot say whether there is reduce of bills or not.
before this my monhtly bill is 40-45
but since last year new tariff my bill always hit rm55 per month
(i no use air cond)

for tank, it is not continuously heating the water. my coway, when i set at eco, it work less on heating. unless u ambil selalu air panas then it will heat more.

frankly i would choose tankless. air sejuk i tambah ais saja

jimat space, more minimalist and look nice on table top

I have Cuckoo as well but I'm using King Top

if I want cold water to refill my 4L water bottle, after refilling halfway 2L water won't be cold anymore biggrin.gif

electricity wise, okay la maybe add about around RM20~30 like that per month, I didn't measure how much it really uses electricity but usually total electricity bill is about ~120, no aircon but 3 air purifiers + 1980s national fridge that are on 24/7

if I remember right the saleswoman did told me before if I don't want hot/cold I can just turn the button off at the back of the King Top but dispensed at normal room temperature, and I have to turn it off immediately when there is short circuit / electricity down.

But this Coway and Cuckoo tank also not very big. I mean id no water supply proly can last shortwhile only the water, eventually need to look for alternate source too

I see this often and find this interesting. Why do they prefer the paid RO water instead of Coway/Cuckoo... There must be some reasoning...

My house hot water usage is on the extreme low side like max 500ml of hot water a day hence deciding to go with tankless

For cold water isn't really an issue as what you mentioned can always put ice if after taking lot's of water the water is no longer cold...

Btw thanks for sharing ya thumbup.gif

Dunno mang. Before kuko we use coway in our office. The cleaners drink it just fine. After one of my previous co director force to change it to kuko then this happens lol. Cleaners say the taste is different and not nice. I cant tell the difference honestly 😓. But cleaners do hard oabour everyday job and drinks lots of water. They probably can tell the difference.

Like me i still think spritzer mineral water taste the best among all other brands. It has that light and soft after taste.
