Never-ending issue.

Authorities should enact stricter laws to control purchasing of dogs n heavy punishments for rampant abandonment of dogs.

Dont let ppl simply buy n easily discard like rubbish. Stop this, we solve a lot of problems

no, it's not kill....it's the way they used to kill the dog is what people are opposing

which they would never use it on other captured animals...especially cats

why bother when we had some people eating cats around here or use kitten to feed their exotic animal.

i think malaysians won't be as angry or protest if it was eaten

but the way people captured how these majilis did it is what makes them angry
like i remember there way penang one did it is after they killed the stray cats....they stuffed the body in the garbage bag and just throw it into the garbage can outside of the majilis office

someone found the bag, opened it...inside got 20-30 cat bodies inside

there is also a video showing majilis staff burying stray dogs while they're alive

don't think so, from what these bodies say...it's happened more often than u think

so it's not them catching the dog that they protest, it's how they handle it after that makes them angry

if they kesian, they can adopt the dogs.

PBT just do whatever efficient and cost effective to them. if there are not much stray dogs around, then they can do the more humane way.

i think our PBT is just lazy

no other countries in this world process stray animals like we do
not even the hated turkey which we all know is famous for stray cats

of course we never learn from other countries because we're too lazy to do it correctly laugh.gif
this is what separates us from the others
same can be applied to other stuff around us as well...everything revolves in "yang penting saya senang"

I think still need to be compassionate also.
State gomen could also sponsor or give discount for spay/neuter and vaccination to encourage adoption. Make it easy to adopt.

many councils disagree to do TNR.

The best is to find person like jack2 to adopt all dogs in his kennel.

But that is not what the NGOs want. They want no kill at all. Maybe they can propose way to humanely kill and ask that their representatives witness.
