Hi,
i have 2 separate question kindly need some feedback.

1) My powder coating on my wrought iron grill is peeling off.Any advice on how to coat it?Is it possible to DIY powder coating?

2) Any1 have an idea how much it cost for PU injection for open flat roof top for car porch?Is it better for PU injection or i need to regrout it?Have tried to use Sika 500 but it still leak.

powder coating is harder to diy than spray painting. best solution would be to repaint it. make sure you gave the grill a thorough grinding and apply it with a layer of undercoat, than paint, than protection coat.

I did PU injection for my car porch at 2k and toilet for 3k. So far already a year, no leaks.

Minor cracks can use PU injection and no need to hack anything.

In fact, during the process, the PU actually exited from the toilet to the living hall at few spots. It is also the same for the car porch where the PU exited from several spots.

Once done, apply 2-3 layers of silicone based water proofing and let it cure for 24 hours. Once done, whatever it rains, the water will just gather at one spot and dissipates. Previously, it would have seeped through and leaked below.
