 DC MOTO GFM925W, Making noise when opening gate

I installed DCMOTO GFM925W in November 2024. Now, the gate, when opening is making a loud noise.

I checked with the installer and the response was that the lubricants on the gate brackets could be malfunctioning. They said it could be manufacturing defect.

As a first step it was suggested that I apply wd-40 and see if the noise disappears.

This seems to be unusual as I installed the motor just 6 months ago.

Appreciate any comments/feedback on this situation.

WD40 is not a lubricant. Look for spray grease
