Many success people look obese but obesity is positively related to depression. https://www.emro.who.int/emhj-volume-27-202...care-staff.htmlInsomnia, over eat, bypass surgery, high BP, severe diabetes, etc look like a norm nowadays. Is obese rich ppl with depression really success? or asalkan ada duit/power related post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bolehland/comments...ty_in_malaysia/

AI Overview
The psychiatric perspective, as reflected in the DSM-4 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders), suggests that both underweight and obesity can be linked to depression. This is because the diagnostic criteria for depression in the DSM-4 include changes in appetite and weight, which can manifest as either excessive weight gain (obesity) or weight loss (underweight).

This isn't what I see. gotta hammer "correlation does not imply causation" into TS's brain. Maybe TS noticed most successful people are old taukes and already in their 60s/70s.... where weight gain is imminent and hard to control.

Eh that’s not true
There are many successful people that prioritize health so they regularly exercise
Those that are obese just don’t see exercise as important thing

Thats probably why they dont allocate time to exercise. This post has been edited by alanyuppie: May 13 2025, 05:04 PM

Marathons at old age only adds on the wear and tear plus your body can't heal as well as a young person
