lol octopath traveller 2 also in there ka. I think this so-so only not worthy to be in top 50. Persona 5 is good but shouldn't be number 2.

But don't know why so many of you here even bother to mention FF8. I think it is only marginally better than FFX. FF7 is overrated but it does have it's place looking at the scale it reached. Best should be FF6 but fuck 2D and it's IGN right

FF8 had that sweet spot on difficulty for first timers, a short complete story without any convulated sideplots and a simple happy ending. Faye Wong's Eyes on Me is top 5 in FF songs.

in terms of budget, FFX had a much bigger production value with the power of PS 2, making the emotional ride, a longer & more fleshed out journey for every character in the game.
