Same here, things move fast and thinking the previous 'company' still needs me. Never happened. Once you are out, the first thing is they will make changes to fill in the 'void' you left behind. Don't live in the past. Find things to do that makes you happy. The last thing you want is to hold a grudge and ruin your life. Why hold on to something they already let go.

Same here, never give “all” to your company unless yr own. Once they feel you’re too expensive, you’re out on yr butt! Learn as you grow, always new things you’ll never know. Be nice to yr colleagues and subs, one day they may help you the most out of the blue.

After going through so many farewells at my work place, this is the main lesson I learnt:

"You are always replaceable"

Life goes on after you leave. No one will talk about you anymore the next day after you left. Truth.

-there will be a day u will be in the spotlight, everyone will shower you with praise , financial reward , award u , meal with you and so on, all in return of reciprocal favour. After the spotlight period is gone, no one will remember what u do for them and will be tossed like used clothes except your good parent who are by your side , if any. That why i like dog because of royal and follow u till death, in return they want food, shelter, and medical care , sometime exercise to avoid being fat.

-people stop praising after primary school / high school / diploma / degree , when u come out to work , only result matter and that how the society run, u need to beat everyone in your circle in order to ascend the corporate ladder / hierarchy level , hard work wont get u no where even u work 200 years . Unless u are lucky .
