Anyone cares to share some insights of joining group tour?
Though I had never joined any group tour traveling overseas, but while in airports met many groups tour in airport, because of older ages like late 50 to early 70 years old, so very obvious.
Due to age gap, I foresee group tour may not that enjoyable, like half way nenek sakit. Atuk letih etc.. Vs young adult, 1 day sleep 5 hours enough, no problem long time walking, walk fast, eat and drink heavy.
Can I survey tour company the tour members average age prior purchasing the package?
Any recommendations?
Mostly i went with tours are older couple (age 40 and above) or whole family member, for me the older couple is ok and they are quite discipline, 9am depart and most of them gather at sharp timing, normally it is the young couple who has slightly timing issue problem. Judging on certain tourist attraction, it is certainly better if u opt for tour, for Japan u can rely on public transport or self driving, but when u go to China outside of the big cities, transportation is a problem for u, one province has several tourist attractions and it is costly for u.
Family trip opt for tour package, most of the time is to minimize the argument, choose tour package and just follow it, if u self plan and screw up in anything, your parents certainly will be mad at u
