Been there long time ago in 2011 bijan time when conversion rate bestest usd1-rm3.3....went to universal studios and island of adventures as well... Prepare to spend 1 week to explore both Disney resorts (4 parks.. Not sure got more now) and us & ioa... You need almost 2 weeks to explore Florida state if you wants to visit other cities like Miami and going to the Florida keys...you can also visit the nasa Centre they have a very nice exhibition of rockets and all sort of space stuffs...

Most of the cost is not the Disney itself but travel and accommodation.

It was long time ago in galaxy far far away when I drove to Florida. If you stay in accommodation inside Disney then it would be crazy expensive. I just stay in motel in nearby town. I think the package that are cheaper is something like this. They provide transport to and fro your package accommodation.

buy fast pass else you spend the whole day queuing up for rides

All i can recall is the queuing, lol, think of the place as a giant queuing park, the rides are just the side attraction. Even when you buy the pass, you still need to queue with the fast pass folks.. and yes plenty of fast pass people too . My suggestion better find a time where it is not peak and chances is less people would be there...
As for money.. get ready to spend at least RM 2-3k per person per day.

Bro,.just a heads up to take care. Happened ages ago in 1993 my family joined tour to go LA Disneyland. Stay at motel outside.

While having breakfast at motel restaurant, several families in the group kena robbed of their passports & cash. Suspect it was inside job the motel as that day the tour was going to a theme.park in Mexico & can't say now but last time Malaysia passports are.very valuable.

Do not.leave handbags/pouch containing passports, ic, cash unattended in restaurants even.inside Disney. Doesn't matter if there are family members still at the table. This syndicate assholes act.very fast.

Take the purse/bag with u at all times & if have to.go to the gents/ladies. Hand it over to your family member for safekeeping & instruct them.to always hold it tightly. Don't put it on the floor/bench.

Yes, if for travelling, dont encourage gf/wife to use handbags as well. Very easy to get stolen

Can't help with Disney Florida as I went LA Disney & that was in 1993 so sure changed a lot. Only advice is if u are still making booking arrangements.

Try & arrange to go on a weekday where the queues are obviously shorter.

went there on 2016 for 7 days, stay at Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista. disney world is too big, day 1 park and each park require 1 tix, myk expensive. the universal studio myk nice better than singapork n osaka 1.
