I noticed a very odd thing about my Shell petrol station that i've been refuelling for the past many years. If i refuel on the weekends, my car will feel more powerful and have better milleage (approx. 15km/l). If i refuel at the middle of the week, my car will feel sluggish and have worse milleage (approx. 13.5km/l).
My tin foil hat theory is that the stations refill their tanks with fresh petrol on the weekends, and by the middle of the week, they will top it up with cheap additives so that their reservoir will last until the next refilling.
Fresh gas from fresh Tanks/tankers will improve your gas mileage on that day of refilling . G say..fresh Petrol 95 have optimal volatility and additive content right after delivery to the station. These additives (e.g., detergents) can enhance combustion efficiency temporarily, boosting the km per liter display. Over time (even within a day), fuel in the tank may lose some volatility due to temperature changes or minor oxidation, slightly reducing efficiency
As for me i always get better gas mileage immediately after top up gas full , and doing a 200km highway drive. trip to hometown . i easily get above 20km/L on the ativa. with ave speed at 95 / drive report from ativa display
yes ALL gas are NOT the same . to say otherwise means you not done your research . just bs talk.
Petrol companies add different Additives . Some have been tested, proven better. with data . not just Ads talk .
same all EO sae W20 are not the same performance
i consistently get the best gas mileage with BHP . tried petron , petronas , shell , caltex.
