Chinese-made PL-15 missile debris found in India


Indian authorities have recovered parts of a Chinese-made PL-15 air-to-air missile in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, following recent military escalations with Pakistan.

Indian media published photos of the missile remnants, though the circumstances of the missile’s presence in Indian territory remain under investigation.

The PL-15, developed by China, is an advanced beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile. The domestic variant can reach distances of 200 to 300 kilometers, while the export version used by Pakistan—designated PL-15E—has a reported range of approximately 145 kilometers. It achieves speeds above Mach 5 using a dual-pulse solid-propellant rocket motor and is guided by an active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar seeker with mid-course datalink updates.

Earlier, Pakistan released the first official images of its upgraded JF-17C fighter aircraft armed with PL-10 and PL-15 missiles. For the first time, officials in Islamabad confirmed the fighter’s capability to deploy the long-range PL-15, highlighting China’s growing role in arming Pakistan with high-tech air combat systems.

Makes sense. If there is one critical infrastructure project of BRI, it has to be the ones in Pakistan. Also Pakistan is using Chinese military equipment so there's some national pride involved. Even Russia doesn't enjoy this kind of support by Chinese, more like 50:50.

I got a pakistan co-worker in the past like more than 10 years ago, professional expat not kuli type .

He often story about pakistan to me, he said pakistan ppl respect russia and good friend with china, they hate bharat and usa.

Ask me go visit pakistan and since look like chinese will get first class treatment there.

He shares alot of pakistan culture with me, and also islam + terrorist in pakistan. Educated muslim in pakistan isnt extremist and he view malaysia muslim is more extreme than himself in general and he said malaysian practice wrong type of islam.

In pakistan people hunt boar and use dog, even have swine farm, touching, raising swine isnt haram. Eating is. He said that is halal work to earn money honestly and legally, no part in quran say cannot touch or raise swine.

He said, terrorist is from slum, uneducated, poor from kampong. He said its unforturnate pakistan is poor. If the society is tad bid richer, there wont be any terrorist.

Really open up my horizon listen to his story, maybe cool story, but i do due diligent google really got swine farm in pakistan and they export pork too.
