I always take a neutral stand even though I sold cars directly to private buyers before. I can think of one more risk to buyer...seller could fake his documents to convince buyer saying he's the rightful owner then after buyer transfer money seller suddenly claim he unable to do thumbprint problem la, JPJ system down la...

When you sell car to Carsome or any car dealer...you transfer ownership first then only they release payment...same concept...risk is always at the BUYER side

i advise u to not take the risk, too risky and sounds like a scam, its better for u to deal with the buyer direct, because any 'broker' or 'agent' might lead to ABC scams and nowadays alot of these scams happening

and you either receive cash or instant bank transfer and make sure the account is under the name of the buyer

few years back when i sold my car, the buyer came and paid with cash on the spot, then he took the car key, geran and drove the car away, but we agreed few days later that we go JPJ to do thumbprint and change ownership, and everything went smoothly

90% is ABC scam
