I always take a neutral stand even though I sold cars directly to private buyers before. I can think of one more risk to buyer...seller could fake his documents to convince buyer saying he's the rightful owner then after buyer transfer money seller suddenly claim he unable to do thumbprint problem la, JPJ system down la...As a buyer you would think otherwise of course. When you sell car to Carsome or any car dealer...you transfer ownership first then only they release payment...same concept...risk is always at the BUYER side
