We seriously need China to teach us how to do mass surveillance using CCTV. China has 700 million installed nationwide (that’s 1 camera for 2 citizen). For our safety and law enforcement work.

Most Grab drivers, especially in Malaysia, do install dashcams for safety and evidence (against passenger disputes, accidents, or robberies).
So if no media has mentioned dashcam footage so far, there are only a few likely explanations:
