Any talent build to suggest to maximize ur dps? (exclude beast mastery)

My guild the best hunter dps are survival and i seldom saw him low mana; his mana pool must over 50%

since his critical high and the talent reward back mana when using skill and proc critical;

item are much big different than him so my dps + pet also cant catch up with him LOL; btw he also send his pet in

arcane shoot-> auto shot ->multi -> auto -> steady -> auto

actually every skill shot will follow by a auto shot and spam steady while other are cooling skill are cooling down [hm... there are a marco than make sure you cast a auto shot after every skill shot try search forum]

POT - hunter are need a lot mana pot mana pot > health pot

buff - food, agi, flask any buff you can use just use it include mana oil

Rapid fire increase your cast rate as well so steady shot will be much faster

trinket hm....i cast each trinket one by one but in my mind is crusader trinket; add ap and magic(arcane shot) as

well your pet dps is like part of your dps the ap you hv higher your pet dmg higher; in my mind crusader are the

nicer but i havent try b4

when i counter with boss mana low eat pot (fd and eat the proc for high mana will increase [just my 2 cents])

pot cd but mana low fd drink water it much effective than cast viper and just auto shoot

beside my friend told me that engineer mana pot proc 3000 often mayb you can get the pot as well 20 charge 1 slot



sad thing is our guild now not active we scc 5/6 and tk 3/x just few more step to BT but.... so sad

Suggest you check the hunter class forums in WOW server. That should be a good referencing point.

Survival is good and scales very well with your gear.
But it has high minimum requirements.

You need at least 700 agi to go surv spec.
If your crit is lower than 30% after getting surv talents, you are not "qualified" for going surv spec.
Keep in mind that surv spec has different shot rotation from BM hunters. (BM just need to spam steady shot macro due to their atk speed)
This shot rotation is extremely mana costly. (AS/MS cost a lot)
If you have low crit, you will end up getting oom faster instead of saving mana.

One more thing, as a hunter, u must use FEL MANA POTS instead of Super mana pots.
It is guaranteed 3200 mana. The fel ache effect doesnt affect us at all.
Engineer pot is just normal super mana pots in stacks. The 3000 proc is all luck.

1 thing sucks about surv spec. Your farming is gonna suck since your pet cant hold aggro at all when you are critting like so damn hard like mofo.

Hahah... i do agree on what u say goblin... let's say if im a lvl 70 newb. should go for BM? normally runs av a lot... to get ready for arena set 1. ^^
