hager is crap. true story. my mum's new house all hager switches break at the 5th year mark, on the dot. the house was delivered brand new from developer.
the plastic clip would break, render the switch unable to turn on or turn off. i help her replace faulty sockets from mr diy. it's been 3 years, more solid that hager crap just buy from mr diy. get immediately, no need to wait for stupid postman This post has been edited by icycokes: May 5 2025, 06:09 PM |

recently butt itchy. So I bought and tested 3 brands available locally through lajada/shopi. both not well know but got sirim stickers; Schneider, VHome and Imitos
I bought UK style 3pin power sockets from all 3 brands and I think all have its pros and cons. 1. Schenieder AvatarOn C Pros : 1. Neat looking 2. Good layout of rear terminals; all can be tightened from top-down position Cons : 1. Small rocker switch 2. Just luminescence strip instead of LED indicator 3. Most expensive of 3 2. VHome Premium UV Texture Pros : 1. Cheap 2. Good layout of rear terminals, all can be tightened from top-down position 3. Big rocket switch 4. Rimless design 5. LED indicator Cons : 1. 3 parts construction; rim base, 3pin module and clip-on rocker cover. 2. Rocker cover feels a bit flimsy since it's clip-on 3. Imitos BR series Pros : 1. Quite cheap 2. Smooth, glossy surface 3. LED indicator 4. Best rimless design among the 3 Cons : 1. Bad rear terminals layout 2. Front cover can be tricky to open after finish installation due to lock clips locations |

If you got too much money, then go for Furutech :
https://choyaudiovisual.com/product/furutec...ribution-units/ RM430 per socket. |
