IMO it's much better than go work office job fake smile, faking hardworking good performance, make boss happy then force urself go after office activity just to keep up with the office drama.
BYD factory for example, it's very similar to university campus town. Don't have to headache commute to work. Low expenses. Many kolik same boat, really feel like staying in hostel in university. I rather work kaw kaw then one go take 1-2 week leave balik kampung see my family lepak with friends.

no. thats illegal. most of the horror h1b stories involve bharat owned outsourcing contractors. but even legal h1b workers are disadvantaged compared to natives due to lack of mobility (harder to change jobs). thats the appeal of foreign labor everywhere including in malaysia (eg bangla workers and pinoy maids are prefered since they cant quit easily compared to locals).
but US wants the iphone production in US, as mentioned by lutnick.
they want the advance job, but TSMC is considered one of the most advance jobs in the industry, but they still complain.
actually this has cause some conflict with with taiwan employee too, coz they are also working in US but they had to work overtime to help other american employee job scope, while the american employee even if they work overtime, most of the time they dont do any productive work, due to being unhappy doing overtime.

I think that's just overblown. US has 3 shift 24 hour plants for cars (so does europe) and wafer fabs from Intel too. its just a different way of management that would likely involve more workers and more shifts. of course there will be some efficiency loss during shift handover compared to the same guy grinding away at the problem until its fixed.
kek this old guy munro, was watching his other video in his own channel where they tear down a byd shark pickup, I have to say, he displayed a lot of bias in that teardown, the german engineer guy (armin) was way more fair and gave credit where its due.
