I lost my dad at around 15 Years old... i was just seeing the "real" world at that time...
But losing my dad at that age just motivated me to study harder and try to get into University.

In the end i am OK now i guess... the only issue i am having probably is with authoritative males in my work place. I hate being instructed by some middle aged or boomers at my workplace.
how about you guys?

Yeap, still remember all the dads picked up their kids or took them for holiday except mine lol

Lost my dad at 8. I guess it caused me to not really have a father figure to guide me and a lot of men stuff I had to figure out on my own.

At least better than my a year older brother that developed depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

this is true, damm what would i give just to have a powerful, influential or rich father. if i have a father like vincent tan/nazri azri/ismail sabri, how nice would it be and truly a blessing..

son grew weed (literally like real drug lab), one call to papa, police and authorities have no choice but to let go....now this is power & influence....

It is ok. Im now almost 40 years old and my late father died when he was 42 years old.

For me growing up without father is a blessing in disguise because I can explore the world by myself without any input from my father. I felt that i become matured faster than my friends with the same age as me.

not everyone is lucky/blessed as your mr robert....

you know decades ago, most of the big time taikos in malaysia also destroyed many families lives, broken families/marriages and have created so much social problems in society...(drug dealing, gangsterism, extortion, rape, beaten people up, bullied, murdered and so on)

today, most of them ended up buying over public listed companies and developers in prime areas. nowadays, all senang, blue skies and mountains cruising in single digit mercedes s class/vellfire/range rover.

2nd/3rd generations of their children are also enjoying as most of them were made directors and through influential powerful cables, easily secured more projects for them.

i can only imagine how those victims feel seeing where they are now....how those victims feel seeing those powerful tan sris who have broken their families after decades...what goes around, doesn't comes around

if i have father like zahid hamidi, i would definitely be very grateful

lost my mom when on 3rd year when taking my degree, few days b4 final exam. Lost my dad when just starting to work for year 1.
No cable, no point of reference, no motivation talk, etc, life goes on, positive, I'm becoming more risk-taking in action, brave to make decisions etc especially when getting job offer that are far from home, for example.

I am decisive, grabbed the opportunities, took a leap of faith, many times. And luck and timing play a part too.

And here I am today.
Never give up araso.
