Next week I will adopt a male cat from a friend. About 2 years old.

But my gf scare it will be bored to be alone. So she thought of adopt another as his friend.

But I am concerning if they don't get well. Any suggestion or opinion on this matter?

If neutered no problem. No more spraying and no more searching for female cats. It will be attached to a person depending on who is always around giving it attention daily.

A single cat is fine. If there are two people in the house, it will grow attachment to one person that gives it the most attention.

If gf is not working, tend to it, it will be attached to her.

First and foremost, thank you for kind and open heart for adoption.

If this is your first adoption, you might need to check on the cat's heath condition first. I assume it is in good health condition since you're adopting it over from your friend.

About 2 months ago, I adopted and stray around my housing area. It's about 1.5 year - 2 years old. Bring to the vet to neutered, later found out that he is FIV positive cat, whereby he easily gets flu and sneezes all the time when he's immune system are down. Secondly, because he was a stray, he is fully covered with ear mites, fur mites and tons of any other mites.

Back and forth visiting the vet, medication and injections, the cost is kinda high. Luckily so far he is doing well now wub.gif
