there were many checkpoints that were breached
cannot put the blame entirely 100% on the van driver
truly pity the him - for, anyone, on a bad day, could've gone through the same very ordeal, if we're not careful or attentive enough. The price to pay.....now that there's a death involved.

Dealing with kids may look simple, but essentially requires an entirely different set of standard procedures, comparatively to dealing with adults - no ordinary feat.
am also bengang with the rest of the occupants of the van (confirm he wasn't alone for he'd be alive if he was), at least bgto driver or wake him up laa. Can't blame em, kids.

haven't followed closely the previous cases of child trapped in vehicles by parents - did the parents face the same consequence this van driver is facing now?
why the stark disparity?
