Flooding market with low cost stuffs killing competitions is all along China business strategy in any industry … they cant compete if not cheap … question is what happened when competition died? They can sell whatever price they want
CCP strategy is mass dumping but at times they never bother to look at their profit. One case in note was Lazada & Shopee. They kept dumping discounts and incentives until they got burned.
Chery, Jaecoo, Jetour strategy is mass dumping price, can see they sell the same thing put on same chassis.
They doing it internationally, so I am not sure if they would succeed or not, unlike last time they did it domestically in China, and it burnt them. But now, they mass dumping discount world wide, to kill all competition, they got the volume.
But its pretty suicidal, if they are not careful.
Heard their structure is very flexible, small no of staffs, other departments source out to external vendors for payroll, sales, marketing, after sales, etc. So any time, they can close shop and cut staffs.
They are designed to be like cardboard setup. They can just implant here and leave here at minimal costs. Except for their CKD plant, I am not sure how much they invested it here.
