Because the alien is so stupid beyond belief, all the technology and advance weaponry and still can't beat country that confuse with gender issue.

Everything else are good, just that the storyline is so disaapointing, the alien has all the right cards in their hand, but just simply do wait and see approach.

If you like sci-fi movies like space exploration and mystery, go watch Pandorum (2009), Sunshine (2007), Event Horizon (1997).
