I would like to hear from you all which place is suitable to live in? I am planning to get a landed property. Currently working in Section 14, PJ and live in South City, Seri Kembangan.

I would prefer landed property. My age at 26 and current income only allow me to afford the maximum of Rm350K valued property. I prefer area with a lot of road link to it.

Just need some comment and advice from the experienced investor here.

salute to TS... 26 can afford 350k prop...
i'm 25 and i only can afford a 190k prop and had to share with my spouse...

you can try Bukit Jelutong? might get some old ones that fits into your budget... landed in PJ/KL is very hard to get, even if there are, new ones are expensive, cheaper ones are very old...

there's USJ, OKR?

I think choices are limited. Unless get condo, but I am not willing to pay more than RM230K for condo. It's gonna be tough, if I get a house for Rm350k, think about it, if I don't get it now, maybe 3 years later, the price gona hike and that time I can't get a place near to the city centre.
I don't mind getting a used house, as long as the location is strategic.

I am understand for that kind of budget, choices to get landed property is limited.

The answer is, what is the loan limit set by your bank manager. In other words, how much money you have, thus you will have the choices to choose. Simplicity, good and nice location cost you fortune.

Drive your wheel and do your own survey rather than asking other people's opinion regarding the question as every individual had different view.

Well, its easier to ask and then go look, because you already have a feedback mar biggrin.gif

Well I recommend Petaling jaya since you are working in sect 14. LoL

Why not SS2 or section 17? smile.gif

ps, price per sq feet is the base to look at when deciding if its "expensive" or "cheap"

There're old houses in SS2 (DSL) which may still be available at RM350k & up.

But condition maybe subpar & exposed to a lot of noise & traffic in front of house for that sort of price.

Else, you can opt for Bkt Jalil.

Have you ever consider Seri Petaling?
