How much to give the ang bao if you're not attending the Malay wedding? Would it be OK if we transfer them via duitnow/ TnG ewallet?

I gib 50 coz most of them don’t give angpau. Just show up makan and chow and usually done at thier house or some Dewan orang ramai. Food usually cincai cook

like if in KL and do in 5 star hotel and u best buddies with the couple and they helangs, give RM50 only sounds very kedekut kot

Around 10+ years back, some friends of my pushed back a RM50 ang pow saying too much. Nowadays maybe should be ok. RM100 donno.

If the reception is in a hotel, then you have to play by ear. Ask anyone else going how much they are planning to give lor. Or ask your waifu to ask, usually they are better at this sort of things lol.
