Am looking at walk through scooter type of motorcycle for use at kampung.

Purpose is go around kampung to kampung, rare occasion into kebun when invited by friends. Short distance max distance 60km per trip but mostly 20km top.

Storage space important criteria.

Bike will be parked most of the time, counting by months and not week.

Normal scooter like Ego Gear or Vario, most likely their battery will be weak after parking there for months.

That's why considering ebike.

Anyone had experience to share? From perspective of maintenance and what to look out for.

I am looking at Yadea for it's practical design. Max speed 60kmh does not concern me.

Practical reason.

Need the floor space at the walkthrough and the underseat storage.

If I am going kickstart bike, would have gone for PG1.

Honestly,

For a kebun bike, something like a kickstart kapchai or adventure kapchai like an Aveta or Pg1 would be perfect. The basic Aveta Ranger can be had for under 3k nowadays. Its cheap transport.

Electric scooter batteries will also drain with time.

Storage not an issue...just mount a cheap small top box... any time bigger than the underseat storage on an electric scoot... electric scooters usually have minuscule storage as the batteries take up a lot of room.

On less then perfect roads, small scooter tyres can be a handful compared to regular 17" on a kapchai.

And if you have electricity supply where you park, you can always get a cheap trickle charger or install a battery disengage switch.

It's not a kebun bike, only at times when friends ajak go pick up fruits.

More to go around kampung to kampung ngeteh or tapao or grocery run or garbage disposal run.

Yadea E8S caught me with large floor and good size storage.

Prior to this was considering taking over my friend's LC135 but decided not to.
