i still remember buying aiwa walkman back in 2001.. that time the price is around RM300ish.. use it for almost 10 years, then change to cd player

But then Walkman was the gold standard and their thickness was like just a few mm thicker than a cassette. Aqua takes a few years before thy can make such thin Walkman version.

Aiwa is the best sounding for mini hifi while Sony is the best in walkmans. but we push Sony as they got higher commission and we tweak the hardware so Sony sounds better lol....

Sony bought Aiwa later....
