I very seldom show youtube to my kid on phones, only through tv

mostly i show him, miss rachel, elmo's world, super simple song. no cocomelon LGBT agenda. fck them.

but as you know, utube algorithm can sometimes suggest to show something

So here come BLIPPY

i tell you la. this blippy chanel or even him (actually ori blippy left and sold his channel due to people found out he shits on his friend during stupid period of his life)

but the character of blippy is just wtf

he is an adult of course, but all his video he acts like a kid.

playing in playground etc. which is so weird.

basically NO education to kids.

what so weird is, what it made my kid become. before this, if i take the phone or turn off tv, he ok only.

i bring him to play with toys, ok je.

But hell no with blippy, it made my kid tantrum like hell. I dont know why and how it happened. but i blame blippy.

upon checking the net, im not alone.

blippy is affecting other kids as well. MUDAH tantrum.

if you check the internet for anything, anything at all. you'll realized that you're never alone for anything. great news, your kid and you are not special. deal with it.

blippy is not inherently evil and your child is fine, the problem is with you and your parenting skills. your failure to exert authority and exercise control over your kid has led to your predicament. man up and do better. parents nowadays blame EVERYTHING and EVERYONE except for themselves because they refused to believe that they are a shitty parent.

beat your kid if you need to, a few canes to the buttocks won't land you in jail. it's called discipline.

my nephew watches all sorts of youtube kids video and also blippy with his firetruck/helicopter or whatever shit contents he made and had absolutely zero issues when asked him to stop.

good channel - try discover urself see anything with cartoon but still have some learning value

try narrating/commenting/discussing the content of what they are watching rather than just leaving them alone glued to the screen

i watched blippi with my son, it's ok. there are thing to learn like the sink or float, how fire engine/ police helicopter works.

after that my son outgrew blippi when blippi has gone big and have a side character. and i think the new blippi is a different man.

so you can spend time on internet crap like here but your children cannot? way to set a good example.

Give Legos.

During my childhood, my parents invested a lot in Legos and I still have them after 40+ years in my storage boxes. Easily over 10000 pieces.

I started off with City series up to Technic series. As with Legos, one can dismantle and rebuild into anything.

No need YouTube shit or table rubbish as those will never last.

Legos yes, by another 5 years, my collections would have been 45 years old. Now I gave them to my nieces and nephews to play whenever they drop by for the holidays.

Come on la. I've watched blippy with my kid. He educates children about many things. Of course he has to act like a kid because his audience are kids.

He never teaches kids to throw tantrum. If you fail as a dad, don't blame an Internet personality la.

As a father, yes Blippy is bad. It makes kids behave in an influencer kind of way after watching him often. They start to talk like they are performing to a audience or camera.

But this channel is really good. Alpha blocks. My son was reading in English by 4 year old.

Avoid letting him binge watching on utube too long.

Later will get separation anxiety when asked to stop. Tantrum Will also get worst.

Limit to 30 minutes or whatever amount suggested by experts.

My wife trained our daughter 👧🏻. Every 15-20 mins she on her ipad, take a small break by go washing her hands. Help mom a lil on chores. Drink water. Eat snacks. Go to toilet. Eat lunch/dinner. Do some homework/revision.

It be hard at first. But once you make it a habit. It will subconsciouly detached hima little from social media/games/utube addicition. And he will learn to enjoy his me time, there are other basic responsibilities he need to do as well.

yeah the algorithm is at fault but maybe your kid just find that manchild like most /k/ are amusing

i stopped watching when the original Blippy left - i used to watch the old Blippy when my nephew was watching. Annoying as shi- but at the same time, it's quite educational.

i have to agree through, it is very visually stimulating - the colors and the hyperactive interactions which some (most) kids if watched uncontrollably/unsupervised can lead to some bad consequences.

it's like an adult constantly exposed to extreme pornographic materials and then do not know how to engage / unstimulated by normal sexual behavior.

tantrum is part of a normal child development. you better be "happy" he is normal kid (no angelman syndrome or anything). what you need to do is help him regulate his emotion, not blame this and that.

my son previously watch ms. rachel and Sesame Street also ok only. but later on as he grow up, pattern start to comes, throw tantrum when i close the tv or when i no let him open the TV. nothing change except his age. content also more less the same (children stuff, more or less recycled content).

it more local and better even they ulang the show.
oh my english, smk, plenty good show. some are fairy tales like disney but in local scene

what? my 2 kids watched blippy since small, but ok only...

if you seldom expose your kids to those westerners stuffs then it's very easy to get them to watch local contents but once they do, it's very difficult to get them off. even if you are able to control the contents your kids watch at home, in school they will be influenced by their friends/peers.

i watched Squid Games after midnight when my nephews goes to bed and yet he knew all about, the details, the plots and stuffs. i asked him how he got acquainted about it, he replied "his friends" because their parents watched it together with them.

i don't know why parents think it is a good idea watching an extremely violent blood filled show packed with gore is ok for a standard 3 kid.

Is he completely replaced? I thought he is still Blippi although in limited capacity.

i let my kids watch them sometimes

Mine about six year old, at 4 we already stopped watching it.

Buy every time we watched it, I will tell my child they just pretending to be funny don’t follow. Yes she did copy some of the act but at 5 she no longer doing it. At present she like storytelling (listening and watching), peppa pig, Ben and holly little kingdom etc.

But I always remind her cartoons are not real.

It's on purpose. Some of his segments are okay but generally most of it are pretty brainrot where he just go review playgrounds and stuff.

There are better contents out there these days depending on age. I also realise a lot of cartoons are using too many framecuts, vivid colours and fast transitions to capture kids mind. So have been moving my kid to something more gentler and slower.

I don't give my kid phone or put mind numbing shows on TV
I bring them outside to touch actual grass, catch frogs or bugs.
Bought my kid wooden kitchen set, doctor set, blackboards, drawing pads and some blocks to play with.
At least once a week, go to playground and play the slides. Sometimes go to beach play with sand.
Once they grow up a bit, maybe I'll teach them to climb tree or swim in the ocean.

Since I don't have socmed,
I don't even need to show my kid Tiktok or some shit like that.

So, what I show on TV are just kid stuffs like PinkFong, BebeFin, Didi and friends
which focuses on singing or dancing
No secret/hidden like promoting playgrounds or toys like Ms Rachel or Blippi.
I saw once Blippi hitting a car with a hammer in a junkyard - NOT GOOD for kids
