As EV becoming more and more consumers electronics than the traditional automobile counterparty…

A BYD Seagull launch from usd 10k+ 2-3 years ago. Now start to sell from usd 7900 in Chyna…

Its still early stage of EV. 1 kwh travel distance is still 5-7km max.

2 kwh : 1 litre of petrol average travel distance.

Only jimat if charge at own home.

The bug difference only will come once solid state battery become cheap and into mass market EVs.

The battery weight will go down by 40-50% at same capacity.

The lighter weight will improve EV efficiency consumption.

Maybe 1 kwh : 1 litre or even more of petrol average distance covered.

By then the saving cost even if charge at fast charger outside is still significantly cheaper than petrol.

By then EV may be more viable in Msia mass market.

For now will remain T20 and upper M40 vehicle.
