I was away for a holiday since last sat, how come nobody revived this thread? >.<

I went to PD smile.gif Ironically didnt go to the beach at all. Stupid bus takes us to Nilai instead. NILAI! where people go to buy fabrics and wedding supplies and stuff! What was a 19-year old girl supposed to do there, I ask you??

Still, all the other makciks in the bus enjoyed themselves.. immensely, haha. Can see their husbands sulking summore. That was fun.

I'm a world traveler. I wont say more about this but how about everybody else?

Sense_less> Ops I was busy with some stuff this whole week >"<

Nilai eh? That must really boring XD Poor husbands XDD So what did you do there? Bought anything interesting?

I am an indoor person XD So yeah. But I'll like to travel the world later in life, when I am financially stable (save money save money). It'll be nice to stay at one place for a few months then move to another place and learn about their cultures and lifestyle while enjoying life.

Same goes for me. Hardly have much time in LYN now. Too many issues pending in my list. Work life as a SAPian are not easy. Envy you girls and guys who are still enjoying life out there during this Santa's month. cry.gif

what's a SAPian? haha..

nah, I didnt buy anything in Nilai. As I said, it's mainly textiles and wedding supplies. And really, REALLY low quality random goods. We spent the whole two hours there at the warung store, eating lunch and slurping down ABCs smile.gif yum.

haha feel sorry for all of you smile.gif Now is my college holiday up until next year I should find myself a part time job or whatever, but too lazy~

Is there *any* job that is fun, easy, and pays a lot of money?

--

random:

given a choice, would you choose a job that:

1) You're passionate about but doesnt pay much OR
2) You hate (like really, really hate) but pays a lot.

SAPian = People who work in SAP field. If you ask uncle "Google" about SAP then you know whats SAP is. I sure you seen a lot of SAP seminar and event held in KL ever now and then each year by different company.

A job is fun when you understand and love it. A job will never be fun if you never want to learn it.

There's no such thing as easy money in the world. You have to work for it. Be it in business or working society. We may not feel it when we still under the care of parent. But you will eventually know when you start to take on the responsibility.

Anyway, I try not to preach too much(since I not a freaking priest/hypocrites), so I live by my own principle.

Ans: :random:

my option is 3) Try to love the job but average pay.

Since I start working November 2006 (right after I graduate), the pay wasn't that high but the job is kinda fresh for east m'sia. So potential for growth here is kinda big. However, now....since our company don't have enough implementation consultant like me, I kinda suck up all the work pressure alone here...which is bad. I can feel my health is degenerating as time pass by due to work pressure. icon_question.gif Sometime I wonder why during my college time I don't have other computer related degree except programming. doh.gif

girls, from my observation since the opening of girl's thread, it seems that nowadays the threads are filled with sex and related to it such as postinor, condom on or without etc etc..

it wasn't like this last time..i've been observing this forum until today since the advent of girls club forum..and it's gotten from good to bad to worse..

what's ur opinion on it girls?

Well, I for one have booked myself into a course for a job that I'm okay with, but pays decently and is stable.

However, if I HAD to choose between the two, I'd choose the job that I'm passionate for, definitely. As long as it does put food on the table lar... passion is, after all, easily extinguished with an empty stomach. wink.gif

the theory is that guys uses fake female ids to make those threads, most of them anyway. You can see most of the 'discussions' there are carried on by guys. If a girl comments, she gets sucked in, which is sad, because it became a circle of 'you should do this for your guy'-'no you should do that for your guy'- by which if the girl disagrees, the guys starts calling her ugly, ect.

I hate those threads too, it's mainly the reason I open this thread. It's still a chit-chat corner for now, until we can decide a topic which relates to girls and doesnt fit into any other topics i lyn.

So how *was* the GC forum last time?

I'll choose a job I'm passionate about but pays fairly well. I've try on jobs I don't really like doing but it pays a lot but in the end it just eat away my will to work. Now that I am doing something that I enjoy, I am satisfied even though the pay wasn't as much. And I learn more things too XD

Yup, I agree with you. work without passion is pretty much like a body without a soul (zombie).

as for me, for the time being I cannot be choosy. It's already hard to get a decent job these days. even now my present job is a temporary one since the company need more people in this year end (probably no raya holiday for me cry.gif ) and after new year I had to find other jobs. rclxub.gif

Writing Report only ??? hmm.gif That's pretty simple job unless they requires you to write a comprehensive report that is.

You should take a day off to celebrate with your family or your soul mate. Not good to just work. As for me I took 2 days leaves (before and after Christmas) even though I've no one to celebrate with cry.gif Family went to JB to celebrate with other relatives. As for me, since i saving my leaves for CNY so I only take 2 days just to have a break from my work.

Ouch...you really have to celebrate at office. Hopefully you're not alone though. Just pity I live at the east >.> If not can invite you for coffee laugh.gif My project deadline are pretty near but to me, when it's time to rest then rest. After that I can think more clearly (since I'm a "solution" provider yawn.gif ).
