You know what? It is nostalgic to see the metal covered table like this. Used to be v v v v popular then in Penang and Kedah. Nowadays, not many has these anymore, only those old hawker place or kopitiam. Some of these tables even have cuts on them, causing potentially injury to the patrons. 👍

I remember them in my school canteen. ... but TS' one may be just some plastic sheeting....

I am certain the table is metal. Can see forge reflections and ‘knocks’ from the reflections on the satay table surfaces…

Morning onli eat Hokkien mee. This curry mee only sell at night. Satay 8481 is using the old style dipping sauce of mashed potatoes not kacang. Been eating the dish from the same seller for nearly 50 years now.

Not actually road side but food court. Best hawker food not listed on jewtube.

Where is this satay 8481?
