While commonly referred to as "rare," these elements are not actually rare in terms of abundance, but they are less concentrated and harder to extract in concentrated ore deposits, leading to their "rarity"

Thanks captain obvious. This has been the number 1 talking point whenever any western media talks about rare earth. Anyone can dig the ground. The challenge is refining it. rolleyes.gif As if anyone can just rub dirt on their electronics and tada, critical mineral parts inserted

Finally, Trump managed to rekindle the animal spirit of USA's manufacturing prowess.

And USA finally goes big into recycling.

If recycling them made economic sense for the US it would've been implemented already.

These 2 husband & wife macam airing out their dirty laundry and trying to one-up each other who can live the hermit lifestyle better.

Having refining techniques is not enough. The rare earth must also presence in big enough quantity to ensure commercial viability.

Having to resort to recycling route to get rare earth material already shown US can’t get it in more convenient and abundant way.

Got news say US want to try underwater mining for rare earths.

The United States Thought China Would Veto Their Exports of Rare Earths. But They Have a Plan B: The Pacific Floor

Maybe can get it up and running when Barron Trump is running for president.

Yeap. In the name of security.

Like how SG will recycle waste water or desalinate salt water.
Despite getting a lot of water from MY.
