Most companies place their outgoing employees on garden leave for this very reason. And there's nothing you can do about it anyway

immediate termination

ask HR type termination letter n hand it to him on the spot with reason clearly stated, in dis case failure to complete assigned tasks

celery will b pro-rated n cheque will b mailed to his address

ask security to watch over him while he packs

You think so? Not finishing work is not a terminatable offense. Be ready for the unfair dismissal claim in JPP
And holding back salary? See above

That was me 🤣 Days before I was supposed to leave, I was trying my best to finish all the work. My work was related to F&b so it was impossible to finish everything but my "manager" kept threatening me to finish it.

Since I didn't plan to work in this industry anymore, I purposely left out a big chunk of tasks in my handover list n left a lot of shit for them to settle once I was gone. Before u crucify me, pls note that this is an extremely toxic company to begin with in which they gossip non stop abt u n being rude to others is very much acceptable.

Well, I wouldn't be the one to judge you at all, as I know a lot of companies have sh!t management. Just look at this thread for proof. One week to go and asking if can punish the outgoing employee! laugh.gif
