You force them to finish it, I guarantee u will regret it as at best they just cincai finish, at worst they sabotage.. Either way, u are better off getting.someone more responsible to finish the tasks.

That was me 🤣 Days before I was supposed to leave, I was trying my best to finish all the work. My work was related to F&b so it was impossible to finish everything but my "manager" kept threatening me to finish it.

Since I didn't plan to work in this industry anymore, I purposely left out a big chunk of tasks in my handover list n left a lot of shit for them to settle once I was gone. Before u crucify me, pls note that this is an extremely toxic company to begin with in which they gossip non stop abt u n being rude to others is very much acceptable.

Well, I wouldn't be the one to judge you at all, as I know a lot of companies have sh!t management. Just look at this thread for proof. One week to go and asking if can punish the outgoing employee! laugh.gif

Understandable

My last manager was doing this to me as well, after resignation accepted; she tried to squeeze as much from me as possible.

Things that were not under me suddenly became my task, and asked me to prepare things that would carry out till year end (I resigned at almost the beginning of the year).

Safe to say that I did not leave in good terms with my manager but the other staff and colleagues were surprisingly understanding.

Cause they all knew how my manager was and she wasn’t an easy person to work with at all.

Female manager? Well that really explains everything 🤣 I don't normally bash my own species but female managers are the most ruthless managers. Makes me wonder if they're forcing themselves to be this way coz they feel like they have to prove that they're just as capable as male managers.

Yes, female and single. Not that old but definitely coming to age 😬

I think being bitchy has nothing to do with their marital status. The toxic manager that I mentioned is married with 2 kids lol.

Relax, I.am.not going to crucify u. There are some asshole bosses & it can be very stressful working in toxic company. Personally, I won't sabotage the work partly due to professionalism  pride & I lucky i get along with my colleagues so don't want to put them.in a spot.

I can understand the temptation especially since not going to work in the industry anymore. My old job what I did instead was on my last day especially when going through my pay see still got deduct for come in late to work a bout 5 minutes.

I purposely rant.out.loud so that the big boss can.hear me.complanning bitterly about how the company so bloody kira despite working for them for 8 years & I always do my job.

The bugger was glaring at.me but dare not.confront because he knows that if he get into a verbal sparring . He will get in more trouble with hq  & his rivals due to.office.politics. His term as gm in Malaysia was almost up & he didn't want to be sent home otherwise no.more benefits perks.

The 2 years before I quit was hell not just for.me but other long  time employees as well as sikit sikit cari fault trying to get us to quit o  our own since we are doing our job so can't fire us.

Why didn't u quit earlier then? Obviously your boss was quit firing all of you.
